Trey Knight, a junior at Cal State Northridge, placed second in the men's weight throw final with a lifetime-best 79-2.50 (24.14m) performance in the sixth round at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston, Mass. Knight elevated to the No. 11 all-time collegiate indoor weight throw competitor after previously finishing ninth in the 2022 Division 1 indoor championship meet at the CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala.
